We went to pick strawberries on Saturday. We had a great time. Megan was really good until she realized exactly what was going on. This kid loves strawberries. We went home and stripped her down and went outside to eat some. She was very cute.
The weather has been brutal here, so Megan has gone swimming!

The next day we went swimming with our friend Maryn. This water was too cold, so it took awhile for her to get in. She finally did when I announced that it was almost time to go, of course.
For truth, justice, and the American way. Russ started work last Tuesday down in Bridgeport for the US Attorney's office. He has been to court (got to sit at the table!), went to bomb squad training, and has written motions for appeals. He has become an expert in cocaine sentencing laws, and has repeating warned me not to sell cocaine. I am going to have to think of another way to get money (Just kidding, of course).
We went to a farm. Megan loves animals, but only at a distance. She was a little braver with a cat that we saw. To be fair, that horse was pretty big.
For Memorial Day, we went to the beach. Russ actually went swimming. It wasn't that warm.
The smart ones decided to wait for hotter weather. Megan loved the sand.
Megan loves her shoes and her bath. She is always trying to climb in the tub. She will bring her shoes to me and grunt. If I don't respond, she puts them in my face and grunts again. I never imagined a child of mine liking shoes. Maybe there was a mix up at the hospital with one of my sisters' kids. We found a pair of shoes from when she was a newborn, and she cried and cried because they didn't fit. It broke my heart. Here are some more pictures from our E'ville vacation.

Being silly with her three favorite things in the world.Last Thursday, Jonathan graduated from High School. It was so fun. We are excited for him to go to our alma mater. We know that he will have a great time. GO COUGARS!!

Meanwhile, the dads watched the girls at the Heckerts. Megan loved sharing a bath. Especially Kate's splashes!Meet the newest member of our family. He is soft, fragile, and a strong silent type. He is Megan's new best friend. We have a Tupperware container filled with cute, better made stuffed animals. Of course, Megan goes for the one we won in Halloween Bingo at the ward party. He has been in our family for about 10 days, and I have already had to repair him 3 times. He is not allowed out of the car. Russ is more attached to him (at least to the idea) then Megan is. He is always asking for Ted, and is forever trying to get me to let him take Ted out of the car. Notice what a great dresser he is. His favorite things to do are: fly through the air, do somersaults in the air and sing made up opera songs to Megan. This is after his main job of being Megan's best friend.
