Ladies and Gentlemen

Megan is starting to stand!! The longest she goes now is 30 seconds before she kneels down to crawl. The problem with getting a picture is that she loves to walk around holding onto fingers. This makes it hard to get a picture. This was the first attempt:

Kind of an action shot.
Yea!
I think that I will have a walker on my hands before too much longer. Just in time for Spring!

The Problem with Fruit....

Megan is not known for being patient:

I think that this is how it works?
Megan has started doing this funny crawl when she walks on her feet. It is very funny to watch.
She loves cars and balls.
Megan is 10 months today. She is growing up so fast, I can't believe that she used to be this tiny little infant. She is soooooo independent and strong-willed. She is such a joy.

Grand Rapids & Valentine's Day

Russ interview went really well. We should hear back from them by 2 weeks at the most, but Russ is going to try to get them to make a decision earlier. We have a job offer at the US Attorney's office in Bridgeport, so we need to let them know. Russ also got a call from Morrison and Forester in Denver and they want him to come out for an interview as well. It is nice to be wanted. We had a great time in Grand Rapids. It is a fun city and Michigan is a family oriented state. We ate dinner with one of the partners and his family on Thursday. They have five kids that were so cute. The oldest one was ten and she was trying so hard to act grown up. She got really excited when she found out the Yale has "Harry Potter" houses and wants to come here and ride her bike. She was so proud of her placemats that she made for us. One of their sons gave us a Valentine. It was so fun. While Russ had his interview, Megan and I went swimming. She isn't what you would call a beach baby, but she tolerated it. I wish I looked as cute in my swimsuit!
Russ on his way to the Interview. Yummmmmm, my Valentine's present!
This is how Megan lets me know that she is ready to get up from her nap. By standing up and yelling for me. If that doesn't work, she throws things.

Almost Forgot

We are going in for an interview for a firm on Friday in Grand Rapids, MI. We really really really want to work here, so pray for us!! Russ and I are very excited!

Update

She now does laps around the living room rug with this toy. She is nine months! I did not sign up for this. We try to get her to stand alone, but she can only last for two seconds tops. Occasionally she will let go on her own, but she doesn't do any better.
Caught red handed unraveling the toliet paper. Tsk Tsk.
We went to Once Upon a Child's clothing sale, and we made out with a great deal. 46 items for twenty dollars. 46! For $20!! That is about $0.43 per item. Awesome!

This is a video of her clapping. Sorry the quality is bad.
