Happy Easter!

What the Easter bunny left.  Russ's family had a tradition where the Easter Bunny left clues to where the loot was left.  The Easter Bunny continues this tradition in our house.

The Easter Program in sacrament meeting.  The reason I took the picture was that this was Mel's first time going up to sing.  She left the bench with Megan, but got separated on the way up.  The Primary leaders then just stuck her in a spot.  Go ahead and click on the picture to enlarge it.  I will give you a few seconds to find her.  Give up?  Well, if you can see Megan, look to her left to where two boys are standing.  She is on the floor, hiding, between those two.  Every so often, you would see them look down at her.  It was pretty funny.

Taft

Why, yes, this was taken during our dog's birthday party.  For everyone who did not receive an invitation, I am sorry, but it was very exclusive.
This was taken a few days later after he got home from the groomers.  He wouldn't let them finish.  This picture is dedicated to everyone who is having a bad day.  I wish you could really see how ridiculous he looked.  Russ and I laughed until we cried.

Nursery!

It is official!

Melanie's Party

This was the year that Melanie got to have a party.  We went to the Treehouse Museum where we played for 2 hours, then came back to our house where we had pizza and cupcakes and opened presents.  We are so thankful to all of those who could make it and helped us celebrate a very important member of our family.

Melanie's Fourth Birthday!

Melanie turned 4 on Feb 12.  Her newest love are Squinkes, which made up the majority of her presents.  It was very exciting for her to have both Grandma K and Lisa to be there.  We love our big girl!

Melanie is 4

Melanie is 39.17 in (39%) and 29.75 lbs (9%).  She loves her sisters, animals, and coloring.  She is so giving and is almost always willing to share.  She loves preschool, where is has graduated to "meowing" at her teacher.  We are hoping that one day she will feel comfortable with talking.  She is stubborn, but very loving.  She likes primary.  We are so happy to have her.  Pictures of her birthday and her party are coming!

Madeline 18 months

Maddie is 25.15 lbs (64%) and 33.07 in (88%).  Her head is 18.5 in (65%). She can say: uh-oh, dada, shoe, door, kitty (tisee), drink (hesee), bye bye, puppy (pahpah ), up and Taft (ta). She is so sweet with a fierce sense of independence.  We love her so much!
