Having Fun

We let her pick 4 animals to sleep with at night. 4. You can see how well that one works. Megan is on the far center right, if you can't find her.
They are wearing the same diaper brand, but different sizes.
We went to daffodil hill last Saturday.
You woke me up for this?
So cute, poor flower.

Happy Birthday Megan

Megan turned two on Tuesday. It was so fun. We tried to do all of her favorite things, such as cleaning the fish, washing the dishes (3 times!!) and eating chocolate ice cream. It was too rainy and cold to go outside though, bummer. These pictures are in a weird order because blogger doesn't make any sense when it comes to picture uploading.

I think she totally looks like my brother Jonny did as a baby in this picture. Family of mine, what do you think?
This is her eating cake at one.
Her at two, so much as changed! Sniff.
The cake didn't turn out like the one in the magazine, but I was OK with it. Check below for a closeup. We have been practicing blowing for this event, but the candles were too far away for her, and she just blew on the edges. Afterward, we did it again with the candles closer to her, and she did below them out. Of course, not in front of a camera.
Playing with her Noah's Ark.
Opening presents.
The animal cookies looked so good on the packaging, but not so great in real life. It was supposed to look like a zoo.

Birthday morning. Unfortunately, this is what we have been waking up to for a little while now. Hopefully, once she is over her cold, she will return to normal. In the meantime, we are collecting blackmail pictures.

2 months and Blessing Day

We blessed Melanie yesterday. It went well. Melanie had her 2 month appointment today. Shots are always hard. She is 11 lb 2.75 ozs (49th) and 22.25 inches (25th). We are getting ready for Megan's birthday. We are all dong well.

How you celebrate a 179th Birthday.

With a good old fashion stick pull, of course! A game where the two combatants line up like in the pictures and pull on the stick until one of the players loses their grip.

The fiercest and most competitive round of all. Maryn won, probably because Megan didn't really understand how to play. She thought she was supposed to fall backwards. Check out the look of determination on Maryn's face.
She beat Russ, hands down.
Russ did the best of our family and won a couple of rounds. He ultimately won second place, losing the carrot shaped bat and ball game. Wait until next year. It was all I could do to hang on. Kim is much stronger then she appears!

Watervliet, Here We Come!

We finally secured an apartment for the summer. After jumping through so many hoops that we ready for the circus, we are due to arrive at the Highland Club. It seems like a great apartment, so that will be a welcome change from student housing. We are sad to have to go, but we are excited for something new. We have so much we have to do to get ready. Here are some pictures that I found from the Internet:

It is about 20 minutes from Albany NY.
The outside. It was kind of difficult to find good pictures.
I think that this is a view of Watervliet, but I can't be certain.
Where we will be.
I think this is also a picture of Watervliet. I hope so, it looks so pretty!!
