18 months strong!

Megan had her 18 month checkup on Wednesday. She is 33 inches tall (82th), which is a 3 1/2 inch growth from her 15 month height. She weighs 23.7 lb (39th). She had noticed that the jar of honey looks like a bear, so every time we are eating, she flips out and starts yelling "Teddy, Teddy, Teddy!!!" Her"Teddy" sounds a lot like "Daddy" so it is hard to tell what one she wants at times.

Happy Birthdays and Nursery

Russ turned 27 today! Yea! Megan helped him blow out the candles.
It was Megan's first day of nursery. She did so well. She fussed a bit right at the beginning, but luckily, she is very easily distracted by toys. She stole all the other kid's fruit snacks and went hysterical over the bubbles. I had a awesome time at church today as well, and really gained a testimony about the inspired nature of nursery.

Cute Megan

Here are some pictures of our cute baby.

We received a box from my mother. Megan loved making a mess. We are going to be picking up those peanuts for awhile, but it is worth it.
We got Megan a snow suit. It was so funny to see her try to play in it. I am worried that she will either outgrow it before it snows, or it won't snow at all.

Hey Everyone!

It has been awhile. Not much has happened here. The leaves are starting to turn, which has been awesome. Megan keeps getting bigger and bigger, the same as her mom. Russ is getting ready to go to call back interviews, which is exciting.

Megan likes to walk through leaves, but not such as fan of playing in them. I guess that is a good thing for me.
Helping daddy sweep. Sorta. She was kind of nervous about the broom.

Em is Married

Emily got married in Nauvoo last Thursday. Yeah!! I am so glad that I got to be there. Only four more weddings to go for Mom and Pop Kuhlenhoelter.

Here comes the Bride, all dressed in white.
The Fab five. Us Kuhlenhoelter girls are a very rare commodity. Get them while they are hot. Alisha is on a preorder status, being only 17.
The three show stealers.
Megan learning that there are some good parts to having to share.
Nauvoo, City of Joseph, spiritual, uplifting, educational, the best. What did my child like the best? That is right, throwing the rotten apples around.

Its a girl!!

On Feb 15th 2009, we will be welcoming another little girl into our family. We are very excited. Here are some more pictures from the last couple of weeks.

Russ's first day back to school. A big 2L!
We are able to braid her hair now. It doesn't last very long, but it is sure cute! Russ isn't a very good picture taker, there are many pictures that I look weird in.
Russ loves this picture.
This is what I walked in on after she got up from her nap. Ignore the crying.

Trip to Maine

This weekend we went to Maine. It was so fun. We went to Acadia National Park and stayed in Lewiston.

This is at Sandy Beach. Megan has recently become quite the thumb sucker. It is not very fun when your thumb is covered in sand, but Megan doesn't let it stop her.
We also ate a ton of lobster. Megan is deciding what one she wants.
Here is our dinner. It was delicious!! That guy is about 4 lbs.
Megan says HI.
