New Stuff

On Tuesday, May 29th, we bought a new car. It is a 07 Hyundai Sonata, and we are so excited about it. We are now in the process of thinking of names for it. We got a GREAT deal on it. If anyone is looking for a car, go to Murdock Hyundai in Orem, they are awesome. While we were there, we discovered that Megan is a daddy's girl. She was fussing with mom, but as soon as dad took her, she was happy. In one of the pictures, she is showing how strong she is. She can also roll over from that positon when the timing is right. The other picture shows one of her favorite positions to be held in: with her head cocked way back. When she is in the recliner, mom is afraid that she will slip out of her arms, because she wants her head back so far. She is a funny girl that is starting to show her personality. We are so glad that she is in our family!

Cousin Time!

This was the week of meeting cousins!! Uncle Dave and Aunt Casey had James David on Wednesday. He was bigger then Megan from birth, but now Elizabeth thinks that they are evened out. On Saturday, Russ, Elizabeth and Megan went up to Alzina Sue's house and met a bunch of 2nd cousins. Megan wished that she could play with them, but just watching them tuckered her out. Megan also met her great grand parents. It was love at first sight. On Sunday, we spent the afternoon with aunt Rebecca, uncle Drew, and Kate. She mainly slept, but summoned the energy to perform her lastest trick: ROLLING OVER!! Rebecca assures Elizabeth that as soon as Megan bulks up, she won't be able to do that anymore. Elizabeth is hoping that that is true, but is not sure that her luck will hold out on having a "good Baby". When we went down to uncle Dave and aunt Casey's house, everyone said that it looked as though she had grown so much. Mom and baby are doing their jobs!.

Russ Graduated!

On Friday the 27th, Elizabeth, Megan, and Russ's mom and dad went to his graduation ceremony held at the Marriot Center. It was really good. Russ walked across the stage with Megan, who slept through the whole thing. We are so proud of Russ!

The Baby is Born

So, she finally came. The long awaited arrival of Megan Elizabeth is here. Here are a few pics of our precious jewel. Does anyone think she looks more like one of us? I think the forehead furrows are definintly mine (Russ).

Update

Here are some pictures from when Russ visited Yale last week. He had a great time walking around campus and admiring the architecture of the school. He thought it was so cool! He also had a great time visting his sister Lisa and seeing his favorite painting, Starry Night, in New York. This is me at 37 weeks down. We had our baby shower shortly before, and now all we need is a baby! Russ's aunt Diane made the watermelon baby carriage.

Pregnant Belly

This is Elizabeth's beautiful belly. She looks so cute with her maternity clothes. She is holding my cousin's new baby boy Tristan Ryan. She is 31 weeks along at the time of this picture. We were enjoying ourselves at my sister-in-law Casey's baby shower. Casey is 30 weeks along. So, Elizabeth and Casey could give birth within the same week, or day. My cousin, the one whose baby Elizabeth is holding in the picture, had her baby on the same day as her sister-in-law. That would be so fun! We are getting antsy. We want our baby now! We are sick of waiting.

Opening Ceremony

While hanging out with Jay and Susie Larson's apartment playing Russ's new baby Wii, Susie showed us the blog that she had created. So we decided that it would be a great idea for us to start one as well. So here it is!
